Based on the new Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (hereinafter, “the Law”) published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 20, 2025, and specifically Articles 15 and 16 of said Law, we hereby inform you that SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V. (hereinafter, the “Controller”) with its notification address at CARRETERA TEPOTZOTLÁN-LA AURORA KM. 1, S/N, NAVE 3, MODULO A, COL. AXOTLÁN, CUAUTITLÁN IZCALLI, ESTADO DE MÉXICO, C.P. 54719, is responsible for collecting personal data, for the use of such data, and for its protection. Therefore, by having any type of relationship with the “Controller,” you accept the collection and use practices described in this Privacy Notice.
SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V. uses the information provided, receiving and recording personal data for the following general purposes: to carry out the legal relationship for which you have been engaged by its Customers, to comply as an Employer with its Employees, and to request suppliers or services from its Vendors (all of them, the “Users”). The most important purpose of SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V. in collecting your personal data is to fulfill its main corporate purpose, which consists of: selling to specialized and general customers products related to the filtration and screen printing industries.
Our products and services are only available to individuals with legal capacity to contract, who act as Customers, Employees, Workers and/or Collaborators, Vendors, and Unions. Therefore, those who do not meet this requirement will not have personal information included in our databases, as SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V. does not collect personal data from third parties for any purpose where there is no commercial, contractual, or employment relationship. It also does not collect sensitive personal data through forms, questionnaires, or through its website. For the purpose stated above, the following personal data may be required:
- Full name;
- Company you represent;
- Local and/or mobile phone number;
- Work address;
- RFC and/or CURP;
- Handwritten signature;
SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V. does not sell or rent “User” information. However, it may decide to share a “User’s” personal information with subsidiaries, companies, or associations that work on behalf of, or together with, SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V. such as its Headquarters, and these may use such personal information to support the “Controller” in communicating with users to inform them about information distribution and commercial offers related to products and/or services marketed by the “Controller”.
Your personal data may be transferred and processed by parties other than SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V. in the following cases:
- Holding companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates of the “Controller,” or to a parent company, for purposes of centralized information safekeeping, managing onboarding and offboarding, changes related to your contract, as well as performing statistical functions and maintaining a historical customer registry.
- Authorities, government bodies, or entities, in compliance with obligations under applicable law and/or in compliance with requests made by them.
- Collection agencies, for the recovery of unpaid debts and their judicial or extrajudicial collection.
To make the transfers indicated in items 1 to 3 of the previous section, your consent is not required in accordance with Article 36 of “the Law”.
In all other cases, your personal data will not be transferred to third parties without your consent, except for the exceptions provided in Article 36 of the LFPD and, in all cases, complying with the conditions provided in Article 17 of the Regulations of “the Law”. That is, SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V., may disclose a User’s personal information in response to subpoenas or court orders, or legal proceedings, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend them against legal claims. We believe it is necessary to share information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, or as otherwise required by law.
While we require all our collaborators to fully comply with our privacy standards, it is very important for the “User” to familiarize themselves with the privacy policies of those collaborators, as they may store and use the user’s information whether the user purchases their products or uses their services.
In all legally applicable cases, you may at any time exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (ARCO) with respect to your personal data, to limit the use or disclosure of such data, and/or to revoke the consent you have granted us for that purpose, through the procedures we have implemented.
The corresponding request must meet the requirements set forth in applicable law and must be sent by email to our “Person in Charge” of Processing Personal Data of the “Controller” at privacidad@sefar.com and must include and attach the following:
- The name of the data subject and their address, or any other means to receive notifications;
- Documents that prove the identity of the data subject or, where applicable, the authority and identity of their representative;
- A clear and precise description of the personal data in relation to which one of the ARCO rights is to be exercised, except in the case of the right of access;
- A description of the ARCO right you wish to exercise, or what the data subject is requesting, and
- Any other element or document that facilitates the location of the personal data.
Please note that exercising the ARCO rights is free of charge, and the data subject will only have to cover the cost of reproduction in copies or other formats. Once the request is submitted, as set forth by the Law in Article 28, SEFAR, S. A. DE C. V. has a maximum period of 20 business days to respond and an additional 15 business days to make the exercise of the requested right effective, if it is applicable. If you exercise any of the rights again within a period shorter than twelve months, the cost may not exceed the equivalent of three times the current unit of measure and update in the State of Mexico. If material changes are made to the Privacy Notice and new situations arise that again require exercising the same right in less than twelve months, no fee will apply.
If the information provided in your request is incorrect or insufficient, or if the necessary documents to prove your identity or legal representation are not attached, the “Controller,” within the next 5 business days following receipt of your request, will ask you to correct such deficiencies in order to process it. In these cases, you will have 10 business days to address the correction request, counted from the day after you receive it. The request will be considered not filed if you do not respond within that timeframe.

Important: SEFAR, S.A. DE C.V. reserves the right to make any type of modification, update, or change, as well as to modify the scope of the content of this Privacy Notice.
